Live It Up!
Live It Up! is Memorial Hospital's community outreach program developed for the prevention and treatment of childhood obesity. Live It Up! is a supervised program for students ages 10-15. Classes meet at the Christian Youth Center on Island Creek Road.
Funded through charitable contributions, this programs is currently free for qualified applicants.

Objectives
Participants will:
- Have fun
- Lower body mass index
- Increase daily physical activity
- Develop healthy eating patterns
- Feel better about themselves
- Acquire leadership tools
- Increase strength and flexibility
Qualifications
- Applicants must meet program criteria to participate in program
- Applicants must be between the ages of 10-16
- Applicants must be willing to try a variety of exercises. Once accepted, applicants and their parents must dedicate themselves to the Live It Up program by attending education classes and exercise classes on a regular basis.
