Health Screenings

Manchester Memorial Hospital provides free health screenings to community members in locations convenient to them. Health screenings are held throughout the region at various churches and businesses using the Mission in Motion mobile health unit. 

A typical screening may include educational handouts on tobacco cessation, cardiovascular disease prevention, nutrition, physical activity, stroke prevention and more as well as tests for total cholesterol, blood glucose, blood pressure, and body mass index screenings.

Participating in these free screenings will provide a way for individuals to assess their overall health in regards to heart disease, diabetes, obesity and other factors contributing to such diseases. Anyone whose results indicate potential health issues, will be directed to the medical help they need to reverse, eliminate or treat their symptoms and/or disease.
