Memorial Receives KYASP Grant for the Third Year

Memorial Hospital received a $5,000 KYASAP grant whose funds will be used to provide products for individuals becoming non-smokers.  Memorial uses these funds to purchase nicotine replacement therapy products to be used in smoking cessation classes.  In 2009, four, 13-week classes will be held on Memorial’s campus and other classes will be provided throughout the community.  Supporting those who wish to become non-smokers will be more easily achieved by the money given through this grant.  Smoking Cessation class schedules and times are listed on the internet at www.manchestermemorial.org.
