We recently received a very special thank-you card directed to a very special department. The Bill Smith family shared their appreciation of the care their ther/Grandfather received from the Respiratory Care Department in a most powerful manner. I quote from the card: “In honor of Bill Smith, my dearest papaw, his family would like to thank you. You all have opened your hearts to care for him for a long time now. You’ve helped ease his journey and brighten his days. Never once did you all turn your heads or shy your hearts from him……... You all helped him breathe easier, something his family couldn’t do. I know my papaw thought the world of you all and you guys were his ‘respiratory angels’. God brings people into our lives to help us along the way. You’ve helped us. You all have warm and caring hearts and even though the world lost one of the greatest hearts, it’s great to know that there are still hearts like you guys.”
This is a moving tribute to our Respiratory Care team members who always go the extra mile for our patients. Thank you for the loving care you show. We are proud of your team!
