Stephen began working for the hospital on October 28th. He comes from Henry County Medical Center in Paris, Tennessee where he served as Chief Nursing Officer for 3 years.
In this newly appointed role, O’Neal will oversee quality initiatives and clinical integration to ensure a collaborative approach that provides higher quality, better coordinated and more efficient care for patients.
He has 16 years of experience in healthcare and has a background in neuro-trauma and intensive-care nursing.
“I’ve worked in several different healthcare organizations. I missed the mission-driven aspects of a faith-based organization. As I’ve gotten to know the people here I can see their mission and that they are a family”, said Stephen.
O’Neal holds a Bachelor’s of Nursing from Florida Hospital of Health Sciences and a Masters in Business Administration from Webster University, Orlando, FL.
