Memorial Hospital is pleased to welcome new Chief Clinical Officer, Teresa Laws, RN, BSN, MSA to the administrative team. Teresa has worked for Memorial Hospital for the last nine years as the Nursing Administration Informatics/Clinical Project Specialist, but previously acquired significant experience in other positions such as Director of Nursing, Skilled Nursing Facility Manager, Long Term Care nurse and Med-Surg Nurse for a large city hospital.
“Teresa is a mission focused nurse with an intense desire for high quality patient care,” said CEO Dennis Meyers, RN, BSN, M.Div. “We are glad to have her in this new role on our Administrative Team.”
In her position as Vice President and Chief Clinical Officer (CCO) and Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)Teresa will provide administrative oversight for Med-Surg, PCU, ICU, OB, Emergency Department, OR, Respiratory and Lab.
As CCO, Teresa will have opportunity to support the physicians and clinical staff with the coming implementation of Computerized Physician Order Entry (CPOE). Her goal is to improve patient satisfaction and see an increase in HCAHPS scores, as well as to provide more educational opportunities for staff in a variety of skill areas to broaden the scope of services offered at Memorial Hospital.

Teresa graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and a Master of Science in Administration from Andrews University in Michigan.
