Manchester, Kentucky May 20, 2014— National Hospital Week was May 11th through the 17th. Manchester Memorial Hospital is blessed to have wonderful staff that continuously provides their best to the community. From giving treatment and comfort to the sick, to welcoming new life into the world, hospitals are central to a healthy and optimistic community and Manchester Memorial Hospital spent the week celebrating the roles its people share.
During the week, employees were celebrated in several ways. From free soft drinks and cookies in the Terrace Café, to specialty cupcakes and an Ice Cream Social, the administration made sure that everyone knew how much the hardworking employees at Manchester Memorial Hospital are appreciated.
“National Hospital Week, first and foremost, is a celebration of people,” Erika Skula, CEO of Manchester Memorial Hospital, said. “We’re extremely proud of each member of our staff and we recognize the important role they play in extending the healing ministry of Christ to our patients and our community.”
