Relay For Life

Are you ready for Relay for Life?

Manchester, KY: The Relay for Life of Clay County – an American Cancer Society sponsored event – gets underway on Friday, June 6th at 12 p.m. at the Rawlings & Stinson Park. The fundraiser celebrates survivorship and raises funds for American Cancer Society research and programs in the community.
The event is centered on teams of volunteers who will walk laps around the track and participate in activities that build community spirit and honor loved ones while raising funds to combat cancer.
Manchester Memorial Hospital has been a proud sponsor and donor of this event for the past many years. But this year, things have been really interesting at the Hospital, with the Administration forming teams of their own and having an internal competition to see who can raise the most funds. The teams have been carrying out various activities on site and in the community, but all of this will culminate on the 6th, at the mega event, when the teams go head-to-head at the Park with their booths.
