Manchester Memorial Hospital provides FREE Mail-Delivery Pharmacy
Manchester, Kentucky December 15, 2013 — As part of its mission to improve the health and quality of life of our community, Manchester Memorial Hospital and its physician practices are pleased to provide a free mail delivery pharmacy. The program allows you to receive your prescriptions at no additional cost, delivered to wherever you normally receive your postal mail.
By participating in the program, patients will be able to sign up for home delivery of all maintenance medications after their discharge and/or outpatient visit. A Care Coordinator will contact patients who are prescribed maintenance medicines to set up delivery as well as call existing members of the program to remind them to refill prescription and assist with questions related to medications.
“The home delivery pharmacy program allows us to better communicate with patients and increase the ability of proper medication use,” says Erika Skula, CEO.
