The Food and Nutrition Services department provides food service for hospital inpatients, employees and visitors as well as extensive clinical nutrition services.
Clinical Nutrition Services
Our Registered Dietitian provides assessment and care-planning for critically ill patients, instructs inpatients on diet modification and recommends formulas for patients who require tube feeding. The Registered Dietitian is also involved in providing total parenteral nutrition, an intravenous method of feeding patients high levels of nutrients. Nutrition assessment and nutrition education are also available on an outpatient basis as needed for patients of Memorial Hospital's Physician Clinics.
